Marseille Want Manchester City's Roque Santa Cruz On Loan - Report
French champions Olympique de Marseille are willing to take on board Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz on loan for the 2010-11 campaign, according to a British tabloid.
The News of the World claims that OM have inquired with the ambitious Premier League club over the availability of the Paraguayan international and have been told that he is available.
However, City, who signed the 28-year-old from Blackburn Rovers last summer, have reportedly said that they want to ship off the former Bayern Munich forward on a permanent basis.
Marseille coach Didier Deschamps, though, was recently quoted as saying that the French giants do not have much transfer funds available - it is more likely that OM are looking to sign Santa Cruz on a loan deal.
Santa Cruz scored just three goals in 19 appearances for Man City last season and with the arrivals of a number of players in the summer, he is set to be on his way out of Eastlands.
